◐ Speaking Your Intention Gives it More Power

Renewed Mind Is A Sound Mind.  

Genesis tells us that God began the process of creation by speaking. He said, “Let there be light,” and the universe began. The act of speaking is to verbalize the intent. Words have power. Thoughts have power too but it is very important to take care of what you say, for you shall have what you say. You can literally speak things into life. If you have thought evil, lay your hand on your mouth. By your words you shall be justified and by your words you shall be condemned. The tongue controls life and death.

Sound is the energy that causes things to come into being, to exist. It’s the energy that can create. And if we use the energy of sound properly, we can create positive change in every area of life. This is a universe of light and sound. Mind is light and voice is sound.  Sanskrit the throat chakra is the center of the will expression. You express your will into the world by the words you speak. The nature of your words and the strength they are spoken with is what enforces your power or powerlessness in your universe.

Spoken prayer is more effective than silent prayer. You do not have to speak every word of your prayer. You can think most of it in your mind and speak only certain parts that you wish for greater emphasis. Even vocalized expression that is not in the form of actual words can have effect over reality. The spirit within us expresses in sighing and groaning that cannot be uttered. It is the emotional content of the vocal expressions that have the creative power. Every cry or shout can trigger events into happening.

Decrees are the most powerful and effective form of spoken prayer. When Elijah prayed for it not to rain, he simply decreed that it would not rain according to the Lord. But when he prayed for it to rain again later on, he seemed to spend great effort and even sent his servant back and forth seven times for it. The Bible says that the first prayer that Elijah prayed was earnest prayer whereas the word earnest wasn’t mentioned in the second prayer. This shows that to pray earnestly one must also state a declaration.

To declare or to decree is to simply state what things to be or shall be. By faith we know that the foundations of the world were framed by the word of God. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, you shall be saved. You can speak your salvation from poverty to prosperity, sickness to health and death to life. The power of life and death is in the tongue.Control the tongue and your whole being shall be redeemed. It is the rudder that directs the ship. You are justified by the faith of your speaking.

Since spoken prayer is more effective than silent prayer, you should always give your decrees aloud. If you can’t decree aloud such as when if you’re in a public place, for instance, you can repeat the decrees in your mind. But you will soon discover through your own experience the incredible power you will unleash when you practice the science of the spoken Word. Let your decrees be firm and definite in your mind. To affirm is to make firm or to assert. When you decree, you make firm or assert your will.

Remember that will of the universal mind express itself through the will of the individual mind. God creates reality through you. When you speak forth your intent which is from your heart, you are speaking forth the word of God. That which is in your heart is from spirit. To be inspired is to be in spirit. Let the creative urge in you be spoken forth without resistance or fear. Many people do not speak their desires because of fear and doubt. To speak is to assert faith. Let yourself speak with strength and power.

Repeating decrees increases their benefit. People often ask, “Why should I have to ask God for something more than once?” The answer is that repeating a prayer is not simply making a request over and over. Each time you repeat a prayer, you strengthen the power of the request by qualifying it with more and more of God’s light-energy. You also begin to enter into a state of oneness with God. To repeat a prayer is actually an expression of faith rather than the lack of it. You only do what you are believing.

The single greatest factor of affirmation success is in their repetition. When a statement is repeated often enough, it will become accepted as truth and authority. Even a lie spoken many times would become thought of as true. Repetition is how you impress the subconscious mind with a certain thought or suggestion that you wish for it to embrace. Affirmations got to be repeated on a consistent basis until they become your accepted reality. Something is accepted when it has become familiar to your mind.

The breath and the mind are connected. By consciously controlling your breathing, you can calm and focus your mind and enter higher states of consciousness. As you decree, keep your breathing slow and rhythmic. Never let yourself get out of breath. Try to slow down your breath so that you say as many words as possible in one breath. In this way, your lungs cooperate with your brain and vocal cords to draw down the maximum amount of light from your I AM Presence. Breathe and speak as one.

It is easier to control your spoken words if you already worked on maintaining mental control of your thoughts. Many people try to work on controlling what they say instead of working on controlling their thoughts first. The main work you need to do is the work of consciousness.Then only will your words and actions follow more easily and naturally from there. What you say tends to be a manifestation from your heart. It is not what enters your mouth but what comes out of it that makes you clean or not.
